The reality is you don’t need new, expensive advertising for your listings, not even the old ones. Advertising is a costly way to find clients and it isn’t the most effective. If you’ve found a marketing method that works, there is no reason to change anything about it.
People won’t get bored with your ads because new potential buyers are entering the market all the time. They will have no way of knowing your ad is the same one as last week, and those who do recognize the ad but didn’t call last week are more likely to call when they see it again.
The purpose of your ad is to induce people to call you so you can try and secure their business, nothing more. If you keep track of which ads bring in the most phone calls then you’ll know which ads to stick with. If you keep track of your success, you can take a lot of the guesswork out of choosing advertising.
Advertising should not be guesswork. Successful advertising should produce an expected amount of phone calls on a continual basis. To be a successful advertiser you need to be able to make offers that people want to learn more about. You need to know how to make your ad noticeable so that people who view it will want to contact you. Ads that don’t grab people’s attention and induce them to contact you are little more than lost money.
